WELCOME TO PRINCETON

Breathe, Relax and Enjoy in Princeton, BC

Picture
Princeton, British Columbia is located on the scenic Hope-Princeton highway which connects Hope, Manning Park and the South Okanagan. Nestled between the scenic Tulameen and Silmilkameen rivers, I honestly don't think the natural beauty of the area can be matched anywhere else in BC.

In addition to a charming downtown centre, you'll find many farms, ranches and retreats surrounding the town.

I grew up as a ranch boy, routinely horseback riding through the area. Later, as a logging contractor for Weyerhaeuser Canada, I traversed the many back-woods logging roads and trails. I can confirm that the Princeton, BC region is an ATV and snowmobile paradise. Mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing and boating are also extremely popular here.

Princeton was named the Gold Medal Games Town community for demonstrating its passion for sports and healthy living leading up to the 2010 Winter Games.

Princeton is only an hour and a bit away from Penticton and a couple hours from both Kamloops and Kelowna - so you're still close to the shopping of bigger centres.

An abundance of provincial parks, campgrounds, swimming holes and natural recreation opportunities abound, such as Bromley Rock, Allison lake, Manning Park, Apex Mountain Ski Resort, Big White Ski Resort, Rock Ridge Canyon Retreat & Conference Centre, and the Princeton Golf Course.

We have a wide variety of community events to keep you entertained. The Princeton Posse provide us with our fix of live hockey excitement. Princeton's Traditional Music Festival has become a popular annual event and the Fall Fair and Racing Days are both perennial local favourites. We also have live comedy shows, community theatre and a fascinating museum chock full of interesting artifacts from Princeton's history.

The path you choose is the one you walk.”
Dean Stinson
Mining, forestry, agriculture and ranching drive Princeton's economy. Tourism has really picked up as well, as lower mainland "cottage" mentality grows more popular. Princeton makes for an excellent summer or winter retreat.

The recreational communities of Tulameen, Coalmont, Missezula Lake, East Gate, Osprey Lake and Bankeir are extremely popular due to their sky-blue lakes, the alpine mountains and fresh, clean air. Anyone with an active outdoor lifestyle will love it here. Nature frequently wanders into town to pay us a visit - you will come across deer, elk, moose, marmits, eagles and even the occasional bear.

What MY Clients Are Saying

Dean did a great job - again! Would I recommend him? Already have!"

"We enjoyed working with Dean. Appreciated the commentary about the community, potential neighbours and Princeton life in general. Put in extra effort (water samples, surveys, legal work, footwork etc.). Clearly a cut above the rest."

"His service is the best that I ever received. I would - and have - recommended him to friends."
